Billing Overview

Voxifi uses a two-part billing model: a monthly subscription for platform access, plus a prepaid usage balance for call costs.

How Billing Works

Monthly Subscription

Choose a plan that fits your scale. Your subscription determines your limits and is billed monthly via Stripe.

Additional phone numbers can be added to any plan for $10/month each.

Prepaid Usage Balance

On top of your subscription, call costs are deducted from a prepaid balance:

  1. Add funds to your balance
  2. Make calls
  3. Costs are deducted after each call completes
  4. Top up when needed — or enable Auto Top-up

This means you always know what you're spending on calls, with no surprise end-of-month bills.

Cost Structure

Subscription

Fixed monthly fee based on your plan. Billed automatically via your saved payment method.

Call Costs

Each call is charged based on:

  • Voice — per-minute charge for the phone call
  • LLM — language model usage for conversation
  • Transcription — speech-to-text processing

The exact cost for each call is visible in call history after it completes.

Phone Number Costs

  • 1 phone number included with every plan
  • Additional numbers: $10.00/month each

Viewing Your Balance

  • Header bar — shows current prepaid balance at a glance
  • Settings → Billing — full breakdown with transactions and invoices

Managing Your Account

Adding Usage Funds

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Add Balance
  3. Enter amount ($10 minimum)
  4. Complete payment via Stripe
  5. Balance updates immediately

Auto Top-up

Ensure calls never stop due to an empty balance:

  1. Enable auto top-up in Settings → Billing
  2. Set a threshold and refill amount
  3. Your card is charged automatically when balance drops below the threshold

Changing Your Plan

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. You'll be redirected to the Stripe Customer Portal
  4. Changes take effect with proration on your current billing period

What Happens at Zero Balance

When your prepaid balance reaches zero:

  • Calls stop — cannot make new calls
  • Subscription remains active — your plan and limits are unaffected
  • Phone numbers — may enter a suspended state if monthly renewal cannot be charged
  • Data access — full access remains

Add funds to resume calling.
